June 9: Envisioning Pathways & Priorities for STEM Education and Design Thinking The day will begin with our keynote presentation by Pashon Murray of Detroit Dirt. Following the keynote, a panel of experts, from both industry and education, will discuss how problem-solving and design thinking/practices are, can, or should be integrated into STEM learning across various spaces. Workshops and a collaborative activity through a Give One - Get One session will follow. Conference workshops will include topics related to: Grant Writing 101 for Educators Leading Educational Innovation and Improvement Integrating Technology into Learning Connecting Mathematics and Issues of Equity Incorporating Design Thinking in the Classroom.
