New Teacher Academy 2

The Eaton RESA New Teacher Academy 2 has been designed for newer teachers who have completed year 1 of the New Teacher Academy or for teachers looking to strengthen their classroom management skills. The sessions are a blended format with face to face time and online content. Homework will include videotaping and incorporating other best practices to help teachers grow and self-reflect on implementation of covered strategies. The series is specifically designed to address Section 1526 of the Michigan School Code, which requires 15 days of professional development during the first three years of teaching.
