Biographical Sketch:
Studied for a couple of terms at Hiram College. Worked as a cooper until 1853; in 1866 worked in the drug trade in Palestine, IL then farmed until 1871. Moved from Hudson, OH to Cascade, MI, 1871 and operated a dry goods store. He served as supervisor. He later returned to Hudson, OH to farm.

Notable Facts:
Member of the Fusionist Party. Died in 1913.
