Biographical Sketch:
Son of Albertus Lavoisier and Eunice Mindwell (Ely) Green. He served as messenger in the State Legislature during the session of 1865. He was president of the village of Olivet 2 terms. In the year 1884, he moved to Alma, Gratiot county, and as a member of the firm of Hamlin & Green is engaged in the manufacturing and lumber business. He was president of the village of Alma at the time of his election to the State Senate.
