Biographical Sketch:
Son of James and Eliza Ann Griffey. In 1870 he was living in Conneaut, OH. He moved to Negaunee, MI in September, 1873. He was editor and publisher of the Iron Herald in Negaunee. He served as supervisor in a ward of that city for 1 term and post master at Negaunee from April, 1880, to April, 1884.
