Biographical Sketch:
Served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps in the Naval Reserve from 1968-1971. He was on the Board of Directors of Western Michigan Center for the Handicapped, Goodwill Industries of Muskegon, Muskegon Community Concert Association. He was past secretary of the Muskegon County Bar Association and a member of the American Bar Association. He also served on the Planning and Research Council of the United Appeal of Muskegon County. He was Regent of Eastern Michigan University from January 1984 to December of 1996. Served as the Board Chair from January 1991 to January of 1996. Director of Governmental Relations Michigan Association of School Boards Lansing, MI. He was appointed as a Lecturer in Education at the University of Michigan from July 2007 to December 2007.
