Son of James F. & Byrna (Swain) Younger Education: A.B.,Michigan State U., 1932; U. of Michigan Law School, LL.B. 1935. Employment: Attorney; municipal judge in Lansing, 1947-50; Ingham County prosecuting attorney, 1951-1954.
Memberships: American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Freemasons, Elks, Optimist Club, North Side Commercial Club, and Masonic Orders. 1st Lt. in the Reserve Officers Association.
Notable Facts:
Elected to Senate 4/1/1957 to fill vacancy caused by the death of Senator Harry F. Hittle.
According to Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 189, 1971 Senate Journal, p. 2259 he died 11/21/71.
According to the Lansing State Journal, 11/22/1971 he died at the car wheel. His car went of road and struck a utility pole.
