She served as a judicial clerk for the Macomb County 16th Circuit Court, and an intern in the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office while a law student; attorney with the firm of Ogne, Alberts and Stuart, August 1990-January 1992; joined the Macomb County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in January 1992 and became Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Chief of Juvenile Court; member, State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Bar Association, Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Humane Society; member and volunteer, Detroit Institute of Arts Founders Society; Big Sister since 1992, Macomb Area Council of Big Brothers/Big Sisters; moderator, victim impact panel, MADD, 1996-1997; board member, CareHouse, a facility for victims of criminal sexual assault; Juvenile Officers Association.
