Biographical Sketch:
Pappgeorge was active with the US Army Infantry for 30 years, including two tours of Vietnam. He was airborne, ranger, and pathfinder qualified and received many honors. He was a former director of business and strategic planning for General Dynamics Land Systems; Business consultant, U.S. Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Council; Business Consultant. He was the Oakland County Commissioner from 1989-1992 and the first vice chair of the Republican Party of Michigan in 1995. Community activities included Troy Community Coalition (co-founder), Troy Boys and Girls Club, Downtown Development Authority, Zoning Board of Appeals, Troy Library Board.
