Biographical Sketch:
Son of James and Sarah (Webb) Decker. While a resident of Livingston County, he served several terms as supervisor of his township and acted as deputy sheriff of the county. He moved to Lake City, Missaukee County in 1881. He served Lake City as village assessor, school assessor, justice of the peace and supervisor. He held the office of supervisor for 23 years, and chairman of the board of supervisors of Missaukee County for 15 years.
