Biographical Sketch:
Son of Thomas and Martha E. (Sandbrook) Green. He was appointed postmaster at Clarkston in 1891 and served until 1896, when he resigned, and engaged in the produce business. He also served on the village council and was township treasurer 2 years. He served as president of the Clarkston school board for several years. In 1903, he engaged in the mercantile business in the city of Pontiac. He served 2 terms on the Oakland County board of supervisors after leaving the legislature. Member of the Elks; Order of the Eastern Star; the Masons; Modern Woodmen of America; Knights of the Maccabees; and A. I. U.
