Son of Hiram & Elizabeth Adams. Admitted to the bar 1850 in New York.. After practicing in New York state for a time he moved to Flint, MI in 1855. He served as paymaster for the army during the Civil War, 2 years. He moved to Cheboygan in 1882. Elected Circuit Ct Commissioner of Genesee Co. in 1860. Elected judge of the 33rd Judicial Circuit of Michigan, 1893.
