Biographical Sketch:
He was a member of the General Motors UAW Local 1753, and a Fire Fighter/Paramedic for the City of Lansing for 29 years. He retired as Fire chief/Emergency Management Director, and served as chair on the Police and Fire Pension Board. He was the Union President of Lansing Fire Fighters I.A.F.F Local 421 for 10 years. He was an advisor to the Lansing Fire Explorer Post. He served in the Ingham County 991 Board, Tri-County Medical Control Authority, and Ingham County Elder Death Review Team. He was elected to the Mason School Board and served for 10 years. He was a volunteer for the Mobile Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels.
