Biographical Sketch:
Son of Jayno W. and Blanche Earl Adams. Candidate for Michigan state auditor general, 1944. Appointed to complete a term on the MI Supreme Ct 1952 but did not win re-election to the post. Served as Oakland County Circuit Ct Judge 1956-1973. Retired at 68 after 17 years on the bench. Lifelong resident of Waterford Twp. Buried from the First Presbyterian Church; died at age 77. He was 6 ft 2 inches tall.
Was associated with C. Bryan Kinney in the practice of law in Pontiac. Was vice-chairman of the county committee for two years.
Notable Facts:
Legal advisor to Gov. G. Mennen Williams for 3.5 yrs.; chief justice of Michigan state supreme court, 1952.
SCR 343, 1981 Senate Journal, p. 2014 indcated that he had died. No date or place of death.
