Biographical Sketch:
Son of Ellen Bernice and Donald W. Gilbert. He entered the Army Air Corp, 1945, where he attained the rank of sergeant before stealing his discharge papers in 1947. He was a practicing attorney and former assistant prosecuting attorney of Saginaw County, 1953. In 1966, he was elected to the position of Saginaw County Probate Judge. In 1980 he was elected to serve as Circuit Court Judge, a position he held until his retirement in 1992. Member of the Fordney Club and Delta Theta Phi, legal fraternity.
