Biographical Sketch:
Of German ancestry. Son of William J. and Elizabeth (Deigert) Danz. As a young man, he worked at a fruit nursery. He was, for 17 years, agent and salesman for I. E. Ilgenfritz & Sons. In 1908, he accepted a position with the Weiss Manufacturing Company. He served as mayor of Monroe and city treasurer.
