He was always a resident of Michigan and an active farmer. He served his township as supervisor during the years of 1911, 1912 and 1913, being chairman of the board in 1913.

Notable Facts:
Elected to the legislature in November, 1920, and re-elected November 7, 1922, by a vote of 3,649 to 2,519 for Marion J. Reason. According to HR 11, 1955 House Journal, p. 54, he died 10/15/1954.
