Biographical Sketch:
Of Scots-Irish ancestry. Son of George and Lottie (Whitney) Hubbard.Emigrated around 1890. Built many rural schools. In Marinette Co., WI, he built a rural school that became the model for such schools in Wisconsin. Served as township treasurer and on the school board. He was a contractor, living in East Lansing in 1930. He was a watchman at the State Capitol at the time of his death.
