Biographical Sketch:
Of English-American parentage. For seven years he engaged in the real estate business in Chicago but since that time has followed farming and dairying and was secretary-treasurer of the Dutch Belted Cattle Association of America. He was also a director of the Covert State Bank. Has held the offices of alderman, city recorder and supervisor.
