Biographical Sketch:
Of Holland, Swiss and English ancestry. Son of Jacob and Catherine (Warner) Leedy. Prior to attending University of Valparaiso he taught school. In 1883-4 he was principal of Woodland school. He later engaged as traveling salesman and as general agent for farm implements. Also served his township as school inspector and as justice of the peace.
