Son of Thomas K. Green. He came from New Hampshire to Niles, MI about 1833, where he remained in law practice for several years. He afterwards returned to New Hampshire after his wife died, and lived in Exeter, NH. Served as Niles supervisor, Berrien County probate judge [1831-33], postmaster [1835], clerk [1837] and president of Niles [1844].
