Biographical Sketch:
Son of John K. and Althea (French) Hinkley. He was interested in farming and the construction of state reward roads. He purchased land in Montrose Township after he married and lived there for 7 years before moving to Flushing for 6 years. He returned to the family homestead upon the death of his mother. For a time he had a dairy and took milk into Flushing. He served as village asseso and superintendent of road building.Member of Modern Woodmen, Knights of Pythias and the Masons.

Notable Facts:
Died of gallbladder cancer.
