Biographical Sketch:
Moved to Wexford County with his parents when he was seven years old. Worked for the Pennsylvania railroad and owned and operated a dray line in Cadillac. He was city commissioner og Cadillac ans served as sheriff of Wexford county. Was a farmer and owned a 160 acre farm in Clam Lake township.

Notable Facts:
Republican and was elected to the legislature in 1936, and re-elected November 8, 1938. According the House Journal, 1958, p. 1521, House Resolution No., 75, he died 4/18/1958.
