Biographical Sketch:
Of Irish and American descent. Son of Nathaniel and Adelia (Corkoran) Rice. Located at White Cloud, Newago County to practice law after graduation. Served as circuit court commissioner in 1910.
Was elected speaker pro tem in the 1915 session and was the unanimous choice for speaker at the 1917 session. He was a salesman for Strauss Security Co. at the time of his death.
