Biographical Sketch:
Of English ancestry. Son of Nathan Webb and Mary (Pratt) Webb. Received a diploma as a physician in 1836 and practiced in Rushville, NY. He moved to Pittsfield, MI in 1846 and bought a farm. He served as supervisor of Pittsfield twp 1850-51, 1857-60 and justice. He had 3 sons that served in the Civil War and he served as a surgeon for several months. Member, Odd Fellows.
