Biographical Sketch:
Son of George B. and Mentha Amanda (Bradish) Horton. He was associated in business with his father until about 1912, when he engaged in the cheese manufacturing business in Osceola County. In 1917, he sold out the business and entered the 2nd officers training camp at Fort Sheridan . He was commissioned captain and served in various camps in this country until discharged in 1919. After that time, he was at Fruit Ridge assisting his father and handling his estate after his death.
