Biographical Sketch:
Son of Benjamin Felt and Nancy (Betts) Felt. He was a native of New Hampshire but passed his early life in Oswego county, NY. He purchased land in Leslie in 1837 and 1848. Postmaster at Felt; he had settled Felt in 1847. He was justice of the peace in 1852 in Bunker Hill, MI. Later moved to Grass Lake. Later, he moved to Jackson, where he died.
