Biographical Sketch:
Son of Martin and Rosina (Gracy) Kerr. Emigrated to London, ON in 1870, remaining there 1 year. He then moved to Michigan He worked nine years in the lumber woods of northern Michigan and Wisconsin. In 1876, he moved to his a farm in Taymouth Township, MI.

Notable Facts:
Mr. Kerr was elected to fill vacancy, 4/5/1897. Find-a-Grave, Death certificate and Chapman give birth year as 1854, 1897 Manual says 1850. Died as a result of contusion of the brain caused by an auto/train accident that occurred on 11/1/1923.
