Biographical Sketch:
Son of Ozro S. and Mattie [Martha] A. (Howe) Person; born on a farm near Howell. Lived on a farm until 9 years old when his father moved to Howell. Worked in the post office for 4 years before entereing law school; admitted to the bar, 1901. Spent a year after graduating in the office of his uncle, Judge Rollin Person. Resumed practice in Lansing after leaving Congress. Law partner of Patrick H. Kelley under Kelley & Person.
