Biographical Sketch:
Of English and Scottish ancestry. Son of Robert Clark and Melissa Ann (Rose) Richardson. He came to Michigan in 1889; he entered the employ of the South Shore and Atlantic Railway as locomotive fireman in 1892; promoted to engineer in 1900. He is a member of Division 94, B. of L.E. [Brothers of Locomotive Engineers]; Marquette Lodge No. 101, Masons; Marquette Chapter No. 43, R.A.M.; Lake Superior Commandery No. 3, Knights Templar, Ahmed Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S [Ancient Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine, Shriners]. Was elected a member of the county road commission June, 1926.
