Biographical Sketch:
Son of Herman Sink and Caroline (Gleasman) Sink. After graduation, he became secretary and business manager of the University School of Music and the Ann Arbor May Festival, and in this capacity has presented to the Michigan public practically all of the world's greatest musical artists and organizations. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Farmers' and Mechanics' Bank, Ann Arbor. He served twelve years on the Ann Arbor board of education and was president of the Michigan Association of School superintendents and school board member. For six years he served on the Ann Arbor common council and for three years was secretary of the Michigan League of Municipalities. He also served six years as a director of the Ann Arbor chamber of commerce. He was a Mason, a charter member of the Ann Arbor Rotary club and a member of the Ann Arbor club; also a member of the Acacia and Phi, Mu Alpha college fraternities.
