Biographical Sketch:
Son of John and Ila Irene (Gilespie) Raap. He was employed at Continental Motors Corp. as a machinist. He served as county board chairman, road commissioner Member of Elks, Moose, Lakewood civic Association, Fox Lake Rod and Gun Club, N.A.A.C.P., Eagles, Urban League; served on Geriatrics Council and Muskegon Association for the Mentally Retarded. He was a strong supported of local sanitation/water services and community based mental health services.
