Son of Eugene M and Marie (Farrell) Roberts. He was appointed prosecuting attorney of Oakland County 1953-54 and as justice of the peace in 1955; Oakland County Circuit Judge, 1966-82; member of Oakland County and Michigan Bar Association, the Chamber of Commerce, American Judicature Society, Delta Sigma Phi, Delta Theta Phi, Kiwanis, and AMVETS. He was the founder of the Pine Hill Congregational Church of West Bloomfield
