Biographical Sketch:
Appointed chief of the Dearborn Fire Department at 34, the youngest chief in the city's history, and served for 22 years, retiring in 1996.
Installed Dearborn's Early-Warning System and oversaw the city's first Hazardous Materials program.
Appointed in 1988 to serve on the Community Right to Know Commission for hazardous materials.
President, Michigan State Fire Chiefs Association, 1987-88.
Member and past president of the Dearborn Goodfellows, Italian American Fraternal Club, Dearborn Pioneers Club, the Fordson Varsity Alumni Club and the American Legion Post 364.
