Biographical Sketch:
Son of Henry M. & Harriet (Veitch or Brown) Robinson. He left school at 15 and pursued mechanical, commercial and speculative activities. He was licensed as an attorney. Engaged in several businesses over time including real estate, lumber, securities & groceries. Served as Chief Clerk under Col. Root, Chief Depot Commissary, Military Div. of the Mississippi during Sherman's march to the sea.

Notable Facts:
His father's railroad car works were the first in Michigan. Member of the Masons. Member of the Committees on Railroads; Lumber; and Salt. Death certificate gives birth year as 1839.
