Biographical Sketch:
Son of Joel and Harriet (Stottenburg) Bardwell. He grew up on a farm. He enlisted in Co. K, 23rd Regiment of the Michigan Volunteer Infantry. In addition to practicing medicine, he farmed near Mount Morris, MI. he served as township superintendent of schools, justice of the peace, village president, councilman and township/village health officer. He moved to Flint in the early 1880s and resided there until his death in 1915,
