Biographical Sketch:
Manual 1929, Pg. 686 states he was born in Lee, Maine. When he was 12 years of age came to Michigan. Became a registered pharmacist in 1904, engaged in the drug business in Beaverton, was alderman, mayor, supervisor and president of the board of commerce of Beaverton. In 1917 he was commissioned first lieutenant of infantry and served in that capacity until the end of the war, being one year in France. He is a member of several Masonic orders and the American Legion.

Notable Facts:
Republican and was elected to the legislature in 1926 by a large majority over his Democratic opponent. He was elected for a second term without opposition. According to HR 7, p, 49, 1956 House Journal, he had died. No date or place of death given.
