Biographical Sketch:
He moved to Gladwin County in 1968 from Flat Rock. He was employed by the State Treasury Dept. until 1952 when he began the Remer Insurance Agency with his sons in Flat Rock. Mr. Remer was a charter member of the DAV No. 4 in Saginaw, and was DAV state commander from 1936-37. He was a member of the DAV 337 and the American Legion in Flat Rock. Served on the Saginaw county board of supervisors in 1931 and 1932.
