Biographical Sketch:
Went to what is now Munising in 1896 & has resided there since then.
Held several local offices and was an IRS agent for three years.
Worked in lumber camps and sawmills. Served as city assessor, member of Alger county board of supervisors and was chairman of that body. He was superintendent of the public works of the city of Munising; commissioner of public works and utilities; federal agen, internal revenue department and was engaged in the city of Munising water department. Was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
