Biographical Sketch:
Came to Michigan as a boy. He was part of the Franklin Printing Association that, for a period in 1856 published the Daily Evening News, and in 1862, he was involved with an agricultural paper. He served as alderman, 1862-5 and 1868-9; he was president of the council in 1869. He left Detroit prior to 1888 and is believed to have died shortly thereafter.
