Biographical Sketch:
Son of Robert P. and Louisa Crittenden. Admitted to the bar in 1858. He elected prosecuting attorney 1864, 1870, 1872 and 1874; probate judge 1876 and 1880; and circuit judge 1893. He served as village recorded and president and school board trustee. He retired as circuit judge in 1899. He was director of the Mt. Clemens chamber of commerce for many years; member of the Masons and other fraternal organizations.
