Biographical Sketch:
Of Scottish and American descent. Son of John C. and Martha E.(Westlake) Campbell.He worked for the editorial staff of the Lawyers' Cooperative Pub. Co. of Rochester, NY. He helped prepared the New York Court of Appeal Report from April 1900 through July 1901. In September, 1901, he opened a practice in Grand Rapids, MI. he was one of the original publishers of the Michigan Serial Digest and at times was an editor and its sole owner. He also was the law editor for several technical trade magazines.
