Biographical Sketch:
he was in the Lake Superior region around 1845, living in Eagle River until 1847. He moved to Ontonagon as and agent of the Douglas-Houghton (later the Henwood) Mine. he also was agent for the Algonquin, Coulter, Douglas-Houghton, Flint, Steel and Bohemian. He was a member of the Board of Supervisors for several years.

Notable Facts:
One of the first officers of the Ontonagon Mining Distric Association in 1860. Born in Pennsylvania; exact date of birth unknown. Andreas says he died 12/8/1866
