Biographical Sketch:
Of Scottish and Irish ancestry. Son of Francis Dunning. He arrived in Michigan in November of 1864. From 1864-7, he was identified with the lumbering interests in eastern Michigan and from about 1877-1907 was engaged in farming. He had a farm in Burtchville Township. He served as a member of the board of review and township treasurer.
