Biographical Sketch:
Son of John and Elizabeth (Paul) Cooper. Started as a publisher in 1910 in White Cloud, added Osceola County Herald in 1929 & the Tustin Times in 1944 & in 1946 the Grant Herald-Independent to the string now known as the Cooper Press. Started in printing/newspaper working for the Big Rapids Pioneer & later on Grand Rapids newspapers.
Son Jac has operated the White Cloud Eagle since 1944 & added the Grant Herald-Independent in 1946.
Younger son is prosecuting attorney in Baldwin.
