Biographical Sketch:
Son of Spencer Carr. Moved to Michigan in 1833 and settled in Manchester. He briefly had a small store before starting a farm in 1834. He farmed until 1867, when he moved to the village of Manchester where he dealt in real estate. He served as justice of the peace, supervisor and councilman.
