Biographical Sketch:
Son of Judge George L. and Mary E. (Hankinson) Yaple. Moved to Kalamazoo in 1901. He was in legal practice in Kalamazoo with Claude S. Carney from 1900-1915. He owned and operated furniture stores in downtown Kalamazoo for many years. In 1933, he returned to Mendon and was associated with the Home Owners Loan Corporation and was attached to their legal staff in Detroit and Battle Creek. He later returned to private practice in Mendon. He was on the board of trustees for Kalamazoo College for 25 years and a member of the Rotary Club.
