Biographical Sketch:
Practiced in the field of Dental Hygiene from 1974-89 and was part-owner of Accurate Woodworking, Inc. in Waterford and was actively involved as a designer/sales representative from 1989-2004. She served on the Oakland County Board of Commissioners for 6 years and was Chair of the Republican Caucus for 4 of those years; vice-Chair of the Finance Committee and was a member of the criminal justice coordinating council; served as Chair of the 11th Congressional Republican Committee and on the State Republican Committee. Additionally, she served on the Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency (OLSHA) Member-Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She was involved with the following organizations: Citizens Alliance for Life & Liberty, Pontiac/Water Lodge #810 B.P.O. Elks, Huron Valley Optimists Club, White Lake/Highland Business Association, Clarkston Chamber of Commerce, Waterford Chamber of Commerce, Waterford and White Lake Historical Societies, National Rifle Association, Oakland County Republican Executive Committee, Michigan Commission on Human Trafficking, and Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners. She was chair of the Economic Development Committee of the Midwest Council of State Governments.
