Biographical Sketch:
His parents were from Rhode Island. They moved to Renssalaer County, NY, where Berry is reputed to have been born. After serving in the War of 1812, Berry moved to Orleans County, NY, and Mt. Vernon, OH in 1835 before settling in Adrian, MI in 1836. He finally settled on a farm in Rome, where he died. He was Associate Judge of the Circuit for one term.
He was a member of the Masons.
