Biographical Sketch:
Son of Adam and Gertrude Yeckley. Emigrated to Michigan in 1853 and settled in Ypsilanti township. In 1860, he moved to Van Buren county, Hamilton township. Served as Hamilton township supervisor several terms, was chairman of the board of supervisors and Ypsilanti township justice of the peace. Member of the Grange and the Odd Fellows.
